A documentary full of hope

One of the Elders then spoke and said to me: “All these people dressed in white, who are they, and where do they come from? »

I replied, “You know that my lord. He resumed: “They come from the great ordeal; they washed their clothes; they purified them in the blood of the Lamb.” Rev. 9, 13-14

A message of love

And you? Have you ever asked the same question as me?

A socialite young Coptic, in Parisian life, but who loves the Lord and remembers the stories of the Coptic martyrs that were told to him in his childhood. He replaced the vigil of the Church by the Parisian evenings. But when he hears on a loop the dispatches on 21 Coptics who gave their lives, preferring to die than to deny their faith, he leaves for Egypt to know their history, their family, their journey until the last moment when the eyes raised to the sky their cry will resound "My Lord Jesus.”

Their stories

On February 15, 2015, a video from the Islamic State filmed the assassination in the name of their faith of 20 Copts from Egypt who came to work in Libya as well as a Ghanaian Christian.

Most of them from a village located 250 km from Cairo, “Al-Our” in the Minieh region, they had immigrated to Libya in the province of Sirte, working in construction and on construction sites.

They will be kidnapped by militiamen of the group "Islamic State in Libya" between December 2014 and January 2015 because of their loyalty to their Christian faith.

They are seen dressed in orange work overalls and are executed one after the other on a Libyan beach near Sirte. The collective decapitation is staged by the propaganda channels of the terrorist group DAESH. We thus witness live the killing of the twenty Egyptians and the Ghanaian. They are then seen brandishing the heads of these holy men.

On October 7, 2017, after the capture of the jihadist fighters at the end of the battle of Sirte and their interrogation, the bodies of the 21 martyrs were discovered and exhumed from a mass grave then repatriated to Egypt in their native village.
